Suite #4 is named in honor of the aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, who was born in Hammondsport, NY (which is on the south end of Keuka Lake) in May 1878.He is known as the Father of Naval Aviation and founder of the American Aircraft Industry.Initially he was fascinated by bicycles, then motorcycles, and then aircrafts.He was a contemporary of the Wright Brothers; and he flew many flights over Keuka Lake and its surrounds as he worked to develop manned flight.
